Club is great but the Chinese restaurant leaves a lot to be desired. Food is very ordinary, I'd go a Big Mac before eating there again. On our return trip to Sydney we called in to the Club again. This time the food was much better, must have been our choices the first time. Fried rice and beef dish was pretty good.

Whilst travelling with some colleagues we embarked upon the Chinese Restaurant at the Cobar Bowling and Golf Club. Our approach was to order a selection from the menu with my personal highlight the sweet and sour duck inspired by the eating habits of legendary cricketer BC Lara on the eve of his 277 against Australia in the Sydney Test Match. Add a couple of glasses of refreshing ginger ale and some good company, you have yourself a magnificent culinary option when travelling to Cobar.

I love this place, every time we visit Cobar we always go there, even became a member. Great service, great food, great staff and the courtesy bus ride is always a hoot at the end of the night

Wow so impressed with this place - Mas kitchen was the only restaurant open during the Christmas holidays and the quality of the Chinese cuisine was on par with the establishments in Sydney. The stand out was the sweet and sour pork - superb! Only lost a star cause I thought the price was a tad steep for the location.

Yummy food and great service. Glad I stopped here while travelling through Cobar. I did decide to treat myself to some desert after a delicious dinner only to find out they had no ice cream left. Oh well, these things happen and it was still a great experience altogether.
